You understand that some of the information you are entering (namely your status; the status of the person you are seeking; adopted person's date of birth; adopted person's gender; adopted person's racial/ethnic origin; adopted person's place of birth; adoption agency involved; and any message you may wish to leave) may be viewable by members of the public visiting this website and conducting a search of the database, or in other forms published by the APA; and that all of the information you have submitted will be viewable only by designated personnel of the Adopted Peoples Association. You consent to the information that you have submitted being handed over at some future point to the State when and if it establishes statutory post-adoption services and the Adopted Peoples Association are satisfied that such services are operating to a sufficiently high standard. You understand that no information you have submitted will be passed to another party, except as outlined at Point 6. above, without your written permission.
